Digital Nomad Visa Introduced in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan has introduced a Digital Nomad visa which grants foreign nationals the right to reside in the country while working for a foreign employer.
The visa, called a 'Neo Nomad' visa, is valid for one year, with the possibility of three renewals (each for one year).
The applicant must earn sufficient minimum income according to government regulations and must submit a tax report and a police clearance certificate, among other documentation.
Applicants must submit their documentation at a Kazakh consular post. Government processing usually takes up to seven business days but may take longer based on the circumstances.
Dependents can be sponsored under the visa, but they cannot work under their dependent status.
