Brazil: Visa Requirement Date for Nationals of Australia, Canada and the United States Postponed
UPDATE: April 1, 2024: According to news sources, the government is expected to again postpone the reinstatement of the visa requirement for nationals of Australia, Canada and the United States until April 10, 2025. An official decree is expected to be forthcoming in the next few days.
UPDATE: January 5, 2024: The government has again postponed the reinstatement of the visa requirement for nationals of Australia, Canada and the United States until April 10, 2024.
Starting on January 10, 2024, Brazil will revoke visa exemptions for nationals of Australia, Canada and the U.S., requiring them to obtain an eVisa when travelling to Brazil for business, among other activities.
These nationals can now apply through the eVisa system if they intend to travel to Brazil on or after January 10, 2024.
